Events abound in Post Falls

Spring is here! The snow has stopped falling, the flowers and trees are now blooming, making it that much easier to get outside and head to one of the many wonderful events coming to Post Falls. If you’re ready to laugh, don’t miss Comedy Night Live at The Nashville North (6361 West Seltice Way), a Post Falls High School Booster Club fundraiser to support PFHS athletics on April 20. Doors open at 6pm for dinner, cocktails and silent auction, followed by the show at 7pm. Tickets to the event, which is for those 21 and older, are $30 (includes both the dinner and show). There will be drinks available for purchase, as well as a raffle for the chance to win some great prizes! Purchase tickets online at PostFallsBoosterClub.com.

The following day, April 21, it’s time to party with Post Falls Brewing Company (112 North Spokane Street), as they celebrate their seventh anniversary. The fun kicks off at noon and continues until 10pm with awesome company, great beer, and delicious food from Pi-Idaho Artisan Pizza and The Fixx Smash Burgers food trucks. Live music rounds out the event, as the Devon Wade Band takes the stage from 6 to 9pm. The fun continues noon to 10pm Saturday, April 22, with more great beer, food and music. Jackson Roltgen will be performing 3 to 6pm, followed by Brittanys House 7 to 10pm. Additional details to come, which can be found at Facebook.com.

Looking for some excitement and a bit of chaos? On Saturday, April 22, head to Findlay Stadium Stateline Speedway (1349 North Beck Road) for Wreck It Racing, featuring Bump 2 Pass, Team Roller Derby and Boat Racing. Gates open at 4pm. Get your tickets now at RaceIdaho.com.

The following Saturday, April 29, Stateline Speedway hosts Open Wheel Night, featuring Bandoleros, Early Stocks, IWS Series, Nostalgia Modified and Freedom Mods. Gates open at 4pm, and tickets can be purchased at RaceIdaho.com.

April 25 is the Community Business Fair. Hosted by the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce from 4 to 6:30pm, this is your chance to come meet your North Idaho business community. Whether you’re new to Post Falls or a long-time resident curious about finding out more about new businesses in town, or have a need for a product or service in the near future, this is the place to be. Free to attend, there will be dozens of businesses all under one roof. Don’t miss the free food and chance to win prizes playing the famous Business Bingo. The event takes place at Real Life Ministries, located at 1860 North Cecil Road.

Great events continue into May, with Agave: A Night of Tequila Tasting and Celebrity Margarita Shake-Off and Night Lights at Stateline Speedway, both on May 13, and Sip Idaho North, a liquor tasting festival, on May 20.

Presented by Rotary Club of Post Falls, Agave: A Night of Tequila Tasting and Celebrity Margarita Shake-Off is an event you won’t want to miss. In addition to a fine tequila tasting and margarita mixologist competition, guests will also be treated to a festive taco bar, dancing, raffles and games. A magical experience you will want to share with your friends and family, Night Lights Sky Lantern Festival, at Stateline Speedway, brings the community together for live music, campfires, s’mores, food trucks, games and more. And, after dusk, the highlight of the event, as attendees light their lanterns and send them up to illuminate the sky. A new tasting event is making its way north! Mark your calendars for May 20 for the premiere of Sip Idaho North, a liquor tasting festival. Sip Idaho has been in Boise since 2019, and they are excited to bring it to Post Falls! A tasting experience unlike any other, the event will be held at Red Lion Templin’s on the River (414 East 1st Avenue). General admission, priced $75, will get you (mostly) unlimited samples from all of the liquor suppliers and vendors on-site (including Post Falls’ own Up North Distillery), light appetizers, live music by local musician Bradley Ott, and non-liquor vendors selling items such as cocktail syrups, bitters and more. The VIP Experience, priced $100, grants you access to the event an hour early, a Grand Teton Distillery rocks glass for you to take home, as well as some swag. Doors open at 5pm (4pm for VIPs), and the event will wrap up around 7:30pm. This event is only for those 21 and older. Please drink responsibly.
